Limited One Year Insulated Glass Warranty
Affinity Doors, LLC ("AFFINITY DOORS") warrants that standard clear and insulated leaded glass units will not, for a period of one year after the unit leaves AFFINITY DOORS possession, develop material obstruction of vision between the interior glass surfaces caused by failure of the hermetic seal. This warranty shall not apply to units with broken glass or to glass units installed by others. AFFINITY DOORS liability under this warranty shall be limited to shipping a replacement glass unit.

Capillary breather tubes must be specified by the customer for all insulated glass when installation or transportation is at or over 4,000 feet elevation. If AFFINITY DOORS product containing insulated glass is installed above 4,000 feet without capillary breather tubes, this warranty is void.

Aside from air seal failure, other glass issues the customer may claim under this warranty, such as scratch, smudge or other defect, must be claimed within ten (10) days of receiving the product.

The standard for determining that a scratch, smudge or other blemish warrants service or replacement is as follows:
1. It must be seen from a distance of eleven (11) feet.
2. It occurs within an oval-shaped area comprising 80% of the viewing area of the glass.
3. It is visible against normal daylight (not direct sunlight) when viewed perpendicular to the glass.

Limited One Year Wood Panel Door Warranties
AFFINITY DOORS warrants each Hard Wood door, for a period of one year from the date of shipment and at the time of the shipment from AFFINITY DOORS, is of real material and workmanship. Each door is free from defects that would render such door unserviceable or unfit for the ordinary, recommended use.

Upon receipt of one or more of our doors, it is recommended that you inspect the door(s) as soon as possible. You should be checking for:
1. For the possibility of freight damage.
2. To verify that you received what you ordered.
3. That each door is flat and straight and has no defects.

If there is freight damage, please note it on your freight bill and immediately notify AFFINITY DOORS so a freight claim can be filed.

Characteristics Excluded From These Warranties
The following are not defects in workmanship or material and are not covered by this written warranty:

1.   Damage caused by attempts other than AFFINITY DOORS to repair the door.  
2.   Damage caused by failure to comply with "Care and Finishing" instructions provided by AFFINITY DOORS on its website.  
3.   Natural variations in the color or texture of the door.  
4a.   This warranty applies to doors properly sealed and finished on all six sides and hung in a location protected from exposure to direct sun or rain under normal conditions.  
4b.   For doors 3' x 7' or smaller; warp not exceeding 1/4" in the plane of the door itself. For doors larger than 3' x 7'; warp not exceeding 3/8" in the plane of the door itself.  
4c.   Warp for any door over 8' in height or 3'6" in width.  
4d.   Any door with wood panel(s) more than 24" wide.  
5.   Defects caused by (a) warp or bow of the frame or jamb in which the door is hung; (b) improper hanging of the door; or (c) improper installation such that the door does not swing freely.  
6.   Damage caused by improper handling or on-site storage.  
7a.   Panel misalignment or shrinkage is not considered a defect.  
7b.   Slight expansion and contraction of the door due to changes in temperature and humidity are not defects.  
8.   Problems caused by high humidity (condensation and frost).  
9.   The performance or appearance of finishes applied is not covered.  
10.   Using an interior door in an exterior application.  
11.   Excessive trimming of a door: more than " from the top and more than 1" from the bottom.  
12.   Surface checks less than 1/32" in width or less than 2" in length; for distressed door, surface checks less than 1/8" in width.  
13.   Distress mark, patterns, or knot placement, quantity, shape, or size.  
14.   Water infiltration.  
15.   Wood sills.  
16.   Rusting or discoloration of decorative metalwork.  
17.   No warranty on gates, or doors used in a gate application.  


*DOORS SHOULD NOT BE INSTALLED WHERE THERE IS NO OVERHANG OR WHERE THERE IS EXCESSIVE EXPOSURE TO DIRECT RAIN AND/OR SOUTHERN/WESTERN EXPOSURE, WHICH ALLOWS DIRECT SUNLIGHT.

**Adequate overhang protection from weather is determined by the following: Measure from bottom of door to where overhang joins wall. This measurement is divided by 2 then extended out from the door. Example- Bottom to top measures 8', then 4' overhang is the minimum requirement.

If the claimed nonconformity is warp, AFFINITY DOORS may defer repairing or replacing the product for a period up to (12) months from the date when the product was inspected, as a temporary warp condition can occur as the door adjusts to local humidity and temperature conditions. This deferral will not be counted against the Limited Warranty period.

Should the factory pre-finish be proven defective, AFFINITY DOORS will at its option refinish the door or pay up to $250.00 for an interior door and up to $350.00 for an exterior door.

Limitations And Exclusions
This warranty shall be void and AFFINITY DOORS shall have no liability hereunder if the purchaser installs, treats or retains, for more than thirty (30) days, a door containing an obvious defect, without giving the notice as required herein, or if the purchaser fails to give the required notice within a reasonable time after discovery of a latent defect.

Doors shipped out of the continental United States, Hawaii or Canada are not warranted.

This warranty sets forth AFFINITY DOORS maximum liability for its products. This warranty does not cover: products that are not AFFINITY DOORS, accidents including accidental door glass breakage, Acts of God, and products subjected to conditions outside their design limitations.

There are no express warranties which extend beyond the foregoing and any implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the same duration of the written warranty.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. AFFINITY DOORS shall not be liable for consequential, indirect or incidental damages, or for any amount in excess of the purchase price of the defective door, whether the claim is for breach of warranty or negligence. Some states do not allow the exclusion or the limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights, which vary from state to state.

How To Make A Claim
Immediately upon discovering that the door is defective or fails to conform to this written warranty, the purchaser shall send notice in writing to:

Claims should detail the date of purchase, description of the product, specific definition of problem or defect, and your name, address and phone number. AFFINITY DOORS reserves the right and must be given at least a thirty (30) day opportunity to have any door which is the subject of a warranty claim field inspected by a AFFINITY DOORS representative. This limited warranty extends only to the original purchaser of products or to the original purchaser of the structure into which such products are installed. A Special Note For the increasing customers' needs, our warranty is subject to change without notice.

Should a AFFINITY DOORS wood door fail to conform to this Limited Warranty, AFFINITY DOORS will, at its option, either repair the door, ship a replacement door to the distributor or person making the warranty claim in the same condition of fitting or finishing as the door was originally sold by AFFINITY DOORS to the distributor, or refund the original purchase price paid to AFFINITY DOORS for the door. In no event shall AFFINITY DOORS pay for the cost of labor, installation or finishing of the replacement or original door or for any other cost relating to the replacement of the door. All visible defects or mistakes in shipment must be reported to AFFINITY DOORS before the product is trimmed or installed, otherwise the product shall be deemed correct and/or acceptable.
